In June we started a new project: Twese Hamwe. It means “all together”. Twese hamwe twuvubake: all together to make!
This is the title we gave to the project promoting micro-enterprises in the area of Musha. We presented this project to the Cariplo Foundation, who accepted it granting funds for 66.000 euro. A considerable sum that encouraged us in investing as much. 30.000 euro has already been set in the budget, while we count to raise funds for another 36.000 euro among our possible supporters.
In particular we would like to apply to companies, proposing them to open a “Rwanda Branch”, of course in a symbolic way.
The target of the project is to activate a dozen of micro enterprises in the agricultural, artisan and trade areas, among persons who do not have access to bank credit but who have the skills to start such an activity. More >>
